The Council

​The Youth Council of the Municipality of Thermi was created in 2020 with the aim of actively involving young people in decision-making at a local level. All persons aged 15 to 29 who live or work in the Municipality of Thermi and wish to participate in it can become members of the Council.

ACTIONS

​Our actions aim to promote the participation of young people in decision-making at local level, the protection of Freedom of Speech, Human Rights and the Environment. As well as the strengthening of Culture, Volunteerism and Sports in the region.

About us

The Youth Council was formed in May 2020 following a relevant open call by the Municipality of Thermi to the young people of the area. It belongs to the Deputy Mayoralty of Education, Lifelong Learning, Culture, Youth and Social Protection and is based on the planning and execution of its actions by a corresponding directorate of the Municipality and in particular by the Department of Youth.
