200 years since the War of Independence

​The Local Heart Circle –
The Youth Council of Thermi Municipality in Kato Scholariou is celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Revolution of 1821 by organizing an online event that is dedicated to the National Anniversary of March 25, 1821 having the theme "200 years since the War of Independence" on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at 19:00-21:00.

​The presentations will be performed by Mr. Konstantinos Kotsiopoulos, AUTH Professor on the topic "Loannis Kapodistrias and the geopolitical environment of 1821" and Mrs. Anna Karamanidou, AUTH Associate Professor on the topic "The education of the enslaved race, the example of Evgenios Voulgaris and Agios Kosmas"
